Join Us - USA, Canada and International Membership

Medical Physics for World Benefit is an entirely volunteer-run organization and is a registered society in Canada and in the USA. We have established the opportunity to join MPWB as either Full Members or an Associate Member. Full members are for Medical Physicist with voting privileges, and Associate Members include students and corporate members and other allied health professionals who would like to be involved with MPWB. Membership dues paid for US and Canadian residents may be eligible for a tax donation receipt.

Membership Fee Structure

USA, Canada and International Membership Dues

Full Member *	50.00 USD
Associate Member**	20.00 USD

Low and Middle Income Membership Dues***

Full Member *	10.00 USD
Associate Member**	5.00 USD

* Full Membership is reserved for Medical Physicists with appropriate evidence of training, certification and employment (either current or retired).

** Associate Membership is reserved for Medical Physics Residents, graduate students, and allied health professionals (physicians, electronics technicians, information specialists, etc.,).

*** Definition of Low-Income Countries

To qualify for membership in the Low-income categories, you must be a citizen from and reside in the list of 'Developing Countries', currently defined on the American Association of Medical Physicists website. If you have questions regarding this, please contact us.

Ready to Join or Renew?

For those of you who have completed the MPWB form online as a contact in the past and have populated the membership questionnaire in the application form, you may be prompted to once again complete a "new" application. We recommend completing the form again since we continuously add few fields to the membership questionnaire, and your membership profile may have changed between now and when you completed the application. Another option is to leave the questionnaire blank and email us to retrieve your membership profile, but this may take some time to complete, and you will still need to verify the fields in the questionnaire are correct.

Please note that memberships dues for 2021 are now due. Those who have paid for 2018 dues and are eligible for a tax donation receipt should receive them before March 2019. Please contact medphyswb@gmail.com if you are eligible for a receipt and have not received one.

If you are interested in becoming a Full Member or an Associate Member, you will be asked to complete a membership form and pay dues. Please complete the membership as much as possible, particularly if you are interested in volunteering for MPWB activities. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us.

Member (Canada Only) - $50.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Full members who are contributors to the organization and will receive a Canadian tax-deductible donation receipt.

Member (Low-Income Country) - $10.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Full members who are contributors to the organization and reside and practice in a Low-Income Country.

Member (US and International) - $50.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Full members who are contributors to the organization and will receive a US tax-deductible donation receipt.
